Michigan Qualified Forest Program Changes
Effective for the 2019 tax year, and moving forward, the QFP 2 mil fee equivalent is now required to be collected during the summer tax season. Taxpayers with QFP land will now see this fee on their summer tax bill and not on their winter bills. Questions about this change can be directed to the Michigan Department of Ag & Rural Development.
